Pittsburgh's historic market district
The Strip District tour is a late morning/early afternoon weekday tour featuring a behind-the-counter look at a variety of eateries in Pittsburgh's historic market district.
This tour links local history with the eating establishments peppered along Penn Avenue with taste samples from around the world including Italian pastries, Mediterranean and Latin American specialties, European meats, and cinnamon bread.

When: Public tours are available Fridays and occasional Mondays.
Why not on the weekend?
We're not Jagoffs. Every Yinzer knows you don't plan tours in Da Strip on weekends, n'at! :)
Seriously though, the businesses we visit are the busiest on weekends. It would be a disservice to the vendors, and our tour guests to bring larger groups into their shops on Saturdays and Sundays.
Private group tours (12 or more people) can be scheduled on any weekday.
Time: 10:00 AM and/or 1:00 PM
Duration: Approximately 2-2.5 hours

Cost: $53.00 per ticket. Every person on the tour must have a ticket. Tastings can not be shared.
